Booking Engine Functionality

Below you will find some of the functions available in our booking engine (The availability of some of these functions may depend on the PMS you use and the licenses in place.):

Availability	Request rate availability for 1 hotel • For an unknown guest (public rates) • For a company (negotiated rates) • For a travel agent (negotiated rates) • For a group (group rates) • For 1 or more rooms • For adults, children and infants • For rates and for packages (returns available rate plan / room type combinations for the selected period and, if specified, can also return unavailable rates) Request rate availability for multiple hotels. (Indicates whether a property is available or not and a rate range) Request room, rate or package plan availability detail for 1 hotel. This could fill a 2 month calendar with arrival dates.

Lists	The following lists can be requested: • Properties • Countries • States • Cities • Airports (with nearby hotels for the chain) • Amenities (for the property or the chain) • Extras (for a property) • Titles • Credit Card Types (accepted by a property) • Guarantee codes (for a property) • Payment codes (for a property) • Packages (whether available or not) • Room types (whether available or not) • Rate plans (whether available or not)
Search	Search a hotel filtered by • country • state • city • nearest airport • a list of preferred hotel amenities
Profile maintenance	Guest, Company and Agent profiles arecreated with the information received on each reservation. They are first matched with existing profiles in the database and created only if no match is found. Other profile functionality: Guest: • Create a guest profile • Retrieve a guest profile • Modify a guest profile • Retrieve history reservations for a guest • Retrieve future reservations for a guest Company: • Retrieve a company profile • Modify a company profile • Retrieve reservations for a company profile
Payment	Post payments taken on a reservation by third party payment processors.
